The answers to these questions were some of the primary reasons we selected Ted to build our home. From the beginning of the design phase through closing, Ted actively managed the construction, scrutinized all work being done for quality, and when necessary, put on his tool belt and did what was required himself. Ted is a builder that actually knows, and has more experience in building than some of the trades he hires. Ted sets and expects a very high standard for those that work for him, and the goals that he sets for himself. All of this and Ted’s innate design abilities and construction knowledge is clearly evidenced in the very high quality and workmanship in his homes.

Ted provided us with a written road map of the building process including stages and timings for each step along the way. This was very helpful to us in ensuring that all our personal selections such as plumbing, lighting, appliances, and paint colors were timely made. Also, almost every week Ted would meet with us at the house and we would review the progress, he would answer our questions, and he would address any issues we had.

Working with Ted was easy. He is extremely honest, fair and cost conscious. He let us know well ahead of time the cost for various options and suggested alternatives to achieve the results we were looking for at a reduced cost. Ted provided us with an upfront straight forward no frills approach in pricing our home. The allowances Ted provided were generous, and his standards that he typically provides were upgraded from those most other builders provided.
